Gusto sold 100 additional hours to ACCION in The Philippines

Gusto Worldwide Media confirmed that it will be launching a content block in the Philippines with 100 new hours of original food programming. This is the second deal Gusto has signed with Asian Cable Communications Inc. (ACCION), a channel and content distribution company that previously acquired 60 hours.

Gusto’s programming will be added to ACCION’s channel Pop Life TV as a branded block with a one-hour daily slot. The new deal speaks to Gusto’s popularity with viewers in the Philippines, who have tuned in regularly to Flour Power, One World Kitchen, and A is for Apple. After giving their viewers a taste of Gusto, Pop Life TV is adding more flavour to their lineup with: Crate to Plate (4x30), Fish the Dish (30x30), The Urban Vegetarian (15x30), The Latin Kitchen (15x30), One World Kitchen season 3 (28x30), Fresh Market Dinners (10x30), Flour Power season 2 (13x30), Bonacini’s Italy (30x30), Spencer’s BIG 30 (26x30), Pressure’s ON (8x30), and Let’s Brunch (8x30).

‘We’re blown away by the response from our Filipino audience and we’re looking forward to bringing a Gusto content block to Pop Life TV’, said Chris Knight, President and CEO of Gusto Worldwide Media. ‘With our massive catalogue, we’ve been able to expand with several content and channel partners this year. We own everything, making it easy to launch our content quickly’, he added.

Gusto Worldwide Media’s sales team is ramping up for a busy fall and will be exploring opportunities for its food programming and innovative channel Gusto TV with new partners at markets in Amsterdam, France, and Singapore.
