China Media Group (CMG) is the host institution and CITVC and CHNPEC are the organizers of this 16th edition of the Beijing-located conference and market. The organizers are creating new initiatives to attract an even larger international audience. 2018’s CIFTPE brought over 8,000 attendees to Beijing who comprised the 300+ exhibitors from over 50 countries.
A strong conference program is being planned which will feature global executives from streaming platforms, international studios, creatives, media technology experts, and more. Master Classes are also being developed in the areas of Creative Talent Training and New Technology. Confirmed exhibitors include CMG’s CITVC, CCTV Documentary, CCTV Animation and Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation. Top production companies are also already on board: New Classics Media, Perfect World Entertainment and Daylight Entertainment -- one of the top 3 production companies in China whose series Like a Flowing River just finished broadcasting in China and achieved high audience rating and No.1 audience satisfaction on TV as well as one of the most online hits in 2018. More exhibitors to be announced soon. National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) officials will also participate, shedding light on the latest in regulatory information for companies who want to work in, and with, China.
This year marks the move to a new venue, the prestigious and modern China National Convention Center. Located in central Beijing, the China National Convention Center will allow for even more delegates to exhibit, along with high-quality conference facilities. Shen said: ‘CITVC is proud to organize the 16th edition of the CIFTPE, which is expanding its reach by increasing the number of participants and exhibitors.
