Mondo TV: new licensing agency

 

Mondo TV Group (Italy) has opened its Italian licensing agency, Mondo TV Consumer Product, for the sale of licensing, publishing and merchandising rights, held by both the Group and by third parties.

Guido Bertè has been appointed as head of the general management of the new division. His twenty years' experience in the toy retail business was fundamental for Bertè, for the development of basic training in licensing, a fundamental element to interpret the expectations and needs of the trade and of the more dynamic and evolved consumer.

According to Orlando Corradi, president and founder of Mondo TV, ‘the creation of a licensing agency within the Mondo TV Group is an element of fundamental importance both for the visibility of our properties and because significant revenues and margins from the exploitation of the licensing rights are prognosticated for the group in the next few years'.

In the forthcoming years, the Mondo TV Group intends to expand the agency to an international level, starting from the European market.
