VSI Entertainment, the UK-based production company behind the new pre-school series Everything's Rosie (52 x 11') has secured a continuing co-production agreement with Al Jazeera Children's Channel (JCC) for the second series of this high definition CGI animation.
The first series is set to air on the BBC's dedicated preschool channel, CBeebies this spring and the Arabic version will debut on JCC's preschool channel Baraem TV later this year. The second series has already been acquired by Cbeebies and further proves the channel's confidence in the success of the show, which targets both boys and girls aged three to six years.
Everything's Rosie is one of the first international co-productions to air on Baraem TV, which is available throughout the Arabic countries and Europe; the series is primed to be a flagship show for the channel.
Malika Alouane, director of Channels' Programming at JCC and Baraem TV: ‘Along with the engaging story lines, our young audience will also enjoy the high quality of the CGI animation that brings Rosie and her friends to life'. Kay Benbow Head of Cbeebies, adds: ‘We have worked closely with the team at VSI and are absolutely delighted with this beautiful series. We're sure that our viewers will engage with the warm and charming characters in Everything's Rosie'.
The series has been presold to BBC Worldwide as well as CBC Canada (French Speaking), TVO Canada, TV2 Norway, RTE Ireland, YLE Finland, HRT Croatia, RTV Slovenia, CYBE Cyprus and ETV Estonia. |
