The US independent distributor Echo Bridge Entertainment concludes a global Pay TV licensing agreement with multi-channel operator Universal Networks International, the global channels division of NBC Universal, for five new sci-fi disaster TV movies. The announcement was made today by Michael Rosenblatt, Chairman, President and CEO and Dan March, President, International.

The deal includes broadcast rights in key territories across Western and Eastern Europe, Latin America and Pan Asia and Australia. The titles, produced by Active Entertainment, are Firefight, Swampshark, Stormbringer, World on Fire and Sun Strike.

Firefight is currently in post-production and is scheduled for delivery in August 2010. Swampshark is in pre-production and will begin principal photography in May 2010 with delivery set for March 2011. The third film, Stormbringer is also in pre-production and is set for principal photography in September 2010 with an anticipated delivery date of August 2011.
