Meanwhile, RTL’s n-tv, has acquired Zero Hour, which re-enacts the final minutes leading up to iconic events that changed the course of history and the drama doc Nazi Hunters for its pay-TV service, where it will premiere in 2011.

Finally, CID sealed a deal for 12 hours of crime series Cold Blood with Tele 5, giving the show its premiere in Germany in October.

Caroline Schroeter, sales manager for German-speaking Europe, who will shortly be assuming responsibility for CID’s activities in Russian-speaking Central and Eastern Europe, said: ‘We have several high-performing shows and formats, such as Inside The Box and Weird Or What?, that I believe have great potential in German-speaking Europe and I shall be focusing on those as we move into the second half of the year’.
