Artear: create to innovate, innovate to create

The Artear (Argentina) participation at this MIPTV is absolutely different from what international buyers have already seen. On one hand, the company renewed the stand with a completely different esthetic. On the other, it organizes a cocktail on Monday 12 th at 5,30pm to meet customers at its booth: the meeting includes two spectacular chocolate fountains, and the programs are introduced through an interactive holographic screen.

About the programming offer, Artear presents in Cannes a strong selection of new series and documentaries. The lineup is headed by Left on the Shelf (35x'60), a biting, sarcastic sitcom that confronts the prevailing topics of the day, such as the fragility of forming a close personal relationship, the lack of commitment and paranoid phobias and fears. Be Kind To Me (37x'60) is an important hit of the late prime time at El Trece TV channel in Argentina, and More Than Partners (39x'60), is a legal dramedy based on the lives of three lawyers who decide to become partners and form a law firm.

Regarding documentaries, there stands out Patagonia, Flavors from the End of the World (13x'30), which shows a series of expeditions across snow-capped mountains, crystal lakes and endless kilometers of deserted land, throughout Southern Argentina and Chile. On a similar trend, the company recommends Boutique Wineries, (15x'30), scattered in the Argentine territory. The slate includes also Fantastic Biographies (8x'30), which features bios of fictional and prominent characters, those that impacted audiences, stirred our imagination and became international icons.
